Adults are invited to attend Tree Care 101 at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, in the Library Center auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
You've got trees, now what do you do with them? ISA Board Certified Master Arborist Noel Boyer will discuss how to identify problems with your trees and provide tree and plant health care tips that you can use to maintain healthy, thriving trees.

The Friends of the Springfield-Greene County Library will host the Spring Book Sale April 24-28 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds E*Plex.
The sale will feature new and used hardback and paperback books, CDs. movies, vinyl records, audiobooks, games and puzzles, and artwork. Adult, young adult and children's books and most audiovisuals are $1 or less; better books are priced $2 and up.

The Springfield Conservation Nature Center will host its annual multicultural event, highlighting Missouri's diversity and showcase how different cultures enjoy nature.
The event will include live performances, food trucks, demonstrations, booths, short programs, crafts for kids and more.

Hickory County Fire Department will provide medical care and cook burgers and hot dogs. All ages are welcome. If you have a boat, bring it.
