Event Description

The Springfield Skeptics and Secular Student Alliance at Missouri State University have teamed up to host a discussion and film screening event with award-winning author, photographer and director Chris Johnson. The screening, discussion and Q&A about living a life without a god will take place at the Library Center Auditorium, 4653 S Campbell Avenue, on Friday November 17th beginning at 6 pm. Admission is free. Starting out as one of the highest-grossing publishing projects on Kickstarter, Johnson's book and documentary highlight the various ways that those who are not religious find joy, meaning and purpose in life. Johnson spent two years traveling the world speaking with and photographing atheists from all walks of life to create a hardcover photography coffee table book "A Better Life."
