The Drury University Department of Theatre will present Arthur Miller’s Tony-winning historical drama The Crucible, directed by Robert Westenberg.  The production opens Wednesday, April 24th at 7:30 p.m. in the Wilhoit Theatre (in Drury’s Breech building). Based on the Salem witch trials, this explosive drama explores the conflict between religion and desire in a small Puritan community in 1692.  Performances will be Wednesday through Friday April 24-26 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday April 27 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $14 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and non-Drury students, and $3 for Drury faculty, staff and students and children under the age of 12.  For reservations contact the Wilhoit Theatre box office at 873-7255 Monday through Friday from 1-5 p.m. beginning April 15th.
