The University of Missouri Extension will hold Master Gardener classes on Mondays and Thursdays from February 26 (first class is a Tuesday) to April 1 at the University of Missouri Extension Center at Crowder College in Neosho.
Individuals completing these trainings become members of the Hill and Hollow Master Gardener chapter which is comprised of gardeners from McDonald and Newton Counties.
The mission of the Missouri Master Gardener program is "Helping Others Learn to Grow." As part of MU Extension, master gardeners involve people in improving the quality of life and enhancing the economy and environment through horticultural education, applied research and the resources of the University of Missouri.
Registration is due by February 1. Information at 417-223-4775 or email John Hobbs at hobbsjc [at] missouri [dot] edu.
