Missouri State University will host the American College Dance Festival Association Central Region conference March 21-24. The theme is "Getting our kicks on Historic Route 66 — Enjoy the Ride!" Over 400 student participants from eight states will join dance faculty and professionals for a program of classes, workshops, social events, concerts, and research presentations. The conference also hosts nationally renowned guest artists and musicians, including Michael A. Blackmon, MSU theatre and dance alum; Dr. Suzanne Knosp, music director for the dance department at the University of Arizona; and Camille A. Brown, dancer and choreographer. Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts hosts most of the conference events, including four dance concerts featuring conference participants that are FREE and open to the public: Wednesday Mar.21st at 7:30pm; Thursday and Friday March 22 and 23 both at 7:00pm; and Saturday the 24th at 7:30pm.
