The annual Nature And The Arts Series continues at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center as wildlife photographer Noppadol Paothong returns to share stories from his 11-year journey detailed in his recently published book, "Save the Last Dance—A Story of North American Grassland Grouse". He'll be at the Nature Center on Friday, November 16 from 7:00 to 8:00pm. The book emphasizes the importance of rescuing grassland grouse from the brink of extinction by showing the world what it stands to lose if these species are allowed to disappear forever. Whether you’re interested in photography, conservation in general, or grouse specifically, you'll want to attend this free program, which is for ages 12 to adult. To register, call the nature center at 888-4237. Noppadol's photography will be on display at the Nature Center Tuesday through Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
