Springfield Little Theatre presents Doug Rand's stage adaptation of the beloved Frank Capra film "It's A Wonderful Life" at the Landers Theatre, 311 E. Walnut, Nov.23-Dec.9. It's a timeless story of dreams, disillusionment and the power of love. George Bailey spends his life putting his dreams on hold in order to take over the family building-and-loan business following his father's death. One Christmas Eve when everything's going wrong and George is feeling despondent and alone, his unlikely guardian angel Clarence appears to show George how many lives he’s touched--and how different the world would be had he never been born. This family-friendly show is directed by Jamie Bower. The production opens the day after Thanksgiving, Friday Nov.23, and performances will be Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30pm, with matinees at 2:30pm Saturdays and Sundays through December 9th. For tickets call the Landers box office, 869-1334 or visit www.springfieldlittletheatre.org.
