Branson High School theater department presents the musical comedy "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" opening February 21st. Set in 1850 in the Oregon Territory, a farmer heads to town to trade for supplies--and find a wife. Waiting for the farmer and his new wife to return are his six unmarried brothers. The new sister-in-law tries to educate the rowdy young men in the ways of good manners, social graces and hygiene so that they, too, may find a wife at the annual town picnic. Things don't go as planned. Performances are Thursday through Saturday Feb. 21-23 at 7:00pm with a Sunday matinee at 2:00pm on the 24th. Advance tickets for reserved seating will be available in the three lower sections of the High School Auditorium. The upper section seating is first come, first served. Tickets are $8 for all ages. Tickets may be reserved by calling 334-6511, ext. 5421 or e-mail BHSMusical [at] branson [dot] k12 [dot] mo [dot] us. Tickets will also be available at the door.
