Wilson's Creek National Battlefield presents their annaul "Arts in the Park" concert series FREE and open to the public every Saturday in May at 7:00pm at the Ray House on the battlefield grounds between Springfield and Republic.
The schedule includes:
May 11, Saturday, 7:00 p.m. – Potters Wheel- This gospel group was born out of the desire to quit playing music for the world and start using their talents for the Lord. Potters Wheel has been together for 11 years and have witnessed a great deal of blessings along the way.
May 18, Saturday, 7:00 p.m. -The Missouri State University Community Band– This 45 member, all volunteer community band, will return this summer to perform a concert, on the lawn, in front of the Visitor Center.
May 25, Saturday, 7:00 p.m.– High Strung – Welcome back this bluegrass group from the Springfield-Branson area, who started performing regularly at bluegrass festivals in 2004.
June 1, Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.- Ray House Jamboree – Our annual bluegrass music festival on the front porch of the historic Ray House (Tour Stop Two), featuring several local groups performing traditional Ozark music.
