who's in town for a concert to raise money for a sensory garden at Nathanael Greene-Close Memorial Park, and with Peter Longley, with Friends of the Garden.

The concert, Thursday night (8/21) at 6:30 at the Springfield Art Museum, will feature Bettine Clemen on flute along with guitarist Richard Patterson, accompanied by film from all over the world.  Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 at the door and include a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception and auction of paintings by Peter Longley.  Proceeds will be used for phase one of a sensory garden at Nathanael Greene-Close Memorial Park.  For more information, 891-1515 or friendsofthegarden.org.
