OACAC: Providing Services to Those in Poverty

Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation

This week on Making Democracy Work host Leslie Carrier speaks with Lindsey Dumas-Bell and Diane Anthony from Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation. Lindsey is the Resource Development Manager and Diane Anthony is the Family Planning Director.

O.A.C.A.C. is a community action agency that helps to alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty. Currently O.A.C.A.C. serves  10 counties in Southwest Missouri including Greene, Barry, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Lawrence, Polk, Stone, Taney, and Webster. O.A.C.A.C. will be hosting Luna Fest on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 3 pm. Luna Fest is a film festival containing films made by, for, and about women. All genders are invited to attend.
