Proposals to Address Concerns about Short-Term Lending Practices

This week on Making Democracy Work, host Chrystal Brigman Mahaney speaks with Representative Steve Helms of the 135^th House District in Springfield.

Rep. Helms serves as Chair of the Subcommittee for Short-term Financial Transactions, and will be speaking about proposed measures to reduce the often predatory nature of short term lending.

A Town Hall style meeting about this topic will be Wednesday, March 21^st at 6:00pm at Schweitzer Brentwood Library.
