This week on Making Democracy Work host Ilga Vise speaks with Fred Schlegel. Schlegel is an Environmental Engineer with the Public Drinking Water branch of the Missouri Department of Natural Recources.
They will discuss when the MDNR was founded, it's mission to maintain and protect our natural resources - in particular our drinking water.
The MDNR will have an event in conjunction with the League of Women Voters Of Southwest Missouri discussing drinking water on Monday, Nov. 20th at 5:30 pm. The event will be held at Primas Mexican Grill at 3662 S. Glenstone Ave in Springfield.
