Springfield Police Ask for Public's Help Finding Missing, Endangered Person

Springfield Police Department

The Springfield Police Department is hoping someone might know the whereabouts of a Springfield man who's missing and believed to be endangered.  Officials say 70-year-old Lanny Jackson went missing from his home, in the 1900 block of E. Ridgewood in Springfield, at around 11 Saturday morning (8/26).

He left in a silver Toyota Highlander with Missouri license plates, YG6P6Y.  Jackson is on medication and may be considered suicidal, according to the police department.  He’s 6 feet, one inch tall, weighs 220 pounds and has gray hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
