Springfield Public School students have just one month and about two weeks left before summer break. The district says the tentative last day of school is May 19th, and students will be dismissed two hours early that day.
SPS has used two snow days this year. April 15th won’t be used as an inclement weather make-up day. It will be a professional learning/work day for staff, and students will have the day off. District officials say if there’s any more inclement weather that results in school being canceled the last day will extend beyond May 19th.
Graduation ceremonies are set for May 5th through 6th at JQH Arena.
If your child attends Robberson Elementary, you’ll need to refer to that school’s continuous learning calendar for dates related to the end of the school year.
Explore, the district’s new summer learning experience, will start on May 26th, and classes will be offered through July 29th.
