Volunteers Needed for Greene County

City of Springfield

There’s a new volunteer opportunity in Greene County.   The Greene County Commission says “Team Greene” will be a group of volunteers who will work in the information booths located in the Historic Courthouse and the Judicial Courts Building.

The commission is currently seeking volunteers for “Team Greene”.  A minimum of four volunteer hours per week (all on the same day) is requested, but additional volunteer hours may be contributed up to 40 hours per week.  Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate, and they must attend a training session.

Greene County Presiding Commissioner Bob Cirtin says staffing of the information booths “will better serve our citizens by enhancing their experience when doing business with the county.”
