Voter Registration Deadline for April Election Nears

Michele Skalicky

If you’re not registered to vote, and you’d like to cast a ballot in the April 4 Municipal Election in Greene County, you have until Wednesday (3/8) to register.

Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller said mail-in registrations will be accepted as long as they’re postmarked by Wednesday.

When you go to register, take an acceptable form of identification such as a valid driver’s license, current utility bill or bank statement.

Shoeller also urges anyone who has moved or changed their name to contact his office as soon as possible to avoid delays on election day.

Absentee voting is currently underway. The deadline for casting an absentee ballot in person is 5 p.m. on April 3.
