The Nature and the Arts program, “A Musical Evening With Carter and Connelley” is tonight (1/9) at 7 at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center for anyone 12 and older.  The singer/songwriters have been performing and recording original acoustic guitar music highlighting their love of the natural world since 1988.  To register, 888-4237.

Regular hours for the Springfield Conservation Nature Center Visitor Center today and tomorrow (1/9-1/10) are 8 am to 5 pm.  The building is closed Sunday (1/11).  Trails are open 8 am to 6 pm.

Ozarks Technical Community College will be open tomorrow (1/10) to assist students with last-minute admissions, enrollment and financial aid processes. Classes for the spring 2015 semester begin Monday, Jan. 12.  Hours are 9 am to 1 pm at the OTC Springfield Campus, at the Richwood Valley Campus and the OTC Lebanon Center, 9 to 2 at the OTC Waynesville Center and 10 to 2 at the Table Rock Campus.
