Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield will be the site of a rescheduled Arts in the Park Concert Series performance tomorrow night (7/1).  Wings of Swing will take the stage at 7 outside the visitor center.  Take blankets or lawn chairs.  Admission is free.   And admission will be charged for another event at Wilson’s Creek tomorrow.  Artillery demonstrations will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tour Stop 5 on the Tour Road. 

It’s Fantastic Friday at Mediacom Ice Park.  The Springfield-Greene County Library will offer polar stories, games and crafts, and kids will be able to skate for free for an hour.  It all starts at 10 this morning (6/30). 

The city of Republic will present the Have-A-Blast Patriotic Celebration tonight at 6 (6/30) at J.R. Martin Park, 300 E. Hines, in Republic.

The 32nd annual Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival continues today and tomorrow (6/30-7/1) in Conway. 

Fiddlers on the Route, a two-day festival of musical performances, is at Joplin’s Landreth Park today and tomorrow (6/30-7/1).  Admission is free. 

A Drive-In Movie, featuring Despicable Me, starts at 8:30 tonight (6/30) at Boswell Shelter #1, 1205 Kent Dr., in Lebanon.  Admission is free. 

The Lead Hill, Arkansas annual Picnic Celebration is today and tomorrow (6/30-7/1) at the arena and city park. 

The Highberry Music Festival continues through Sunday (7/2) in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

The Springfield Conservation Nature Center invites females to the program, “Trout Fishing for Women,” tomorrow (7/1) at Roaring River Fish Hatchery.  To register or for more information, 888-4237.

Tours of Giboney Cave will be offered tomorrow (7/1) at Doling Park in Springfield by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board.  The cost is $6 per person or $20 for a family of four. 

The Eureka Springs Historical Museum presents the 2nd annual Happy Birthday Eureka Springs Stroll tomorrow (7/1) and Sunday (7/2) from 5 to 8 p.m. The history walk will start at the high school.  The cost is $15 or $5 for kids nine and younger.  For ticket information, (479) 253-9417.
