Cocktails and Wellies is tomorrow (6/10) from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lindberg’s Tavern, 318 W. Commercial Street, with live music, locally grown food, craft beer, local art and a silent auction.  Proceeds benefit Springfield Community Gardens.  Emilee Blansit and Kaycie Surrell talk about the event. 

It’s Fantastic Friday at the Steam Engine Grounds near Republic.  A program for kids starts at 10 this morning at the site on Highway 60. The Springfield-Greene County Bookmobile will be there, and kids will learn about steam engines and take part in activities.  For more information, thelibrary.org.

The second annual Tennis Under the Lights is tonight (6/9) from 8 to 10 at Lafayette Park on N. Boonville in Springfield.  There will be glow bracelets and necklaces and snacks, and all equipment will be provided.  Admission is free.

The 12th annual Ozark Mountain Transformation Conferenceis today through Sunday (6/9-6/11) in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. 

Queen City Riot 2017 is today and tomorrow (6/9-6/10) at 2660 S. Scenic.  The pre-72 car and bike show will feature mini bike drags, a pin up contest, vendors and live music. 

The2017 Raptor Run is tonight (6/9) from 6 to 9 to benefit the Missouri Institute of Natural Science.  It will start at the museum, 2327 W. Farm Rd. 190 in Springfield.

George Washington Carver National Monument in Diamond, MO will present the Neosho Historic Schoolhouse Program Sunday (6/11) at 1 at the site of the Neosho Colored School.

The Jane A. Meyer Summer Concert Carillon Series kicks off Sunday (6/11) at 7 outside Meyer Library on the Missouri State University campus.  Take lawn chairs and blankets for the free concert presented by MSU carillonist Jeremy Chesman.
