Queen City Craft Show will be held Saturday (11/25) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Veridian Events, 309 South Ave. in downtown Springfield, with local artists, crafters and makers.  Admission is $4, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Rescue One, which helps find homes for homeless pets.

The Jasper Disaster Thanksgiving Saturday Ride, a 58.5 mile bicycle ride, will be held Saturday (11/25) starting in Harrison, Arkansas. 

In preparation for this year’s Downtown Christmas Parade, “A Downtown Christmas Story,” the Downtown Springfield Association and Penmac Staffing will present a series of holiday storytimes at the Park Central Branch Library on Park Central Square in Springfield. Saturday’s (11/25) storytime, at 11:30 a.m., will feature celebrity reader, Sarah Jenkins, from The Mystery Hour. 

The Republic Branch Library, 921 N. Lindsey Ave. in Republic, will host Build-It Saturday Saturday morning (11/25) at 11 for kids in grades K-8.  See what you can construct at the library using your imagination and LEGO bricks, blocks and other building materials.  For more information, (417) 732-7284.

The Strafford Branch Library, 101 S. State Highway 125, will host the fifth annual Mini WhoCon Saturday (11/25) from 1 to 3 for all ages.  Celebrate "Doctor Who" with fellow Whovians while enjoying themed snacks, trivia contests and games.
