Studio 55 Fine Arts Guild

Studio 55 Fine Arts Guild will present an art exhibit and silent auction tonight (9/2) from 6 to 8 at the Gallery at National Avenue Christian Church, 1515 S. The Billings Community Fair continues through tomorrow (9/3) at the public school grounds and city park on SW Pine St.  It will feature rides and activities, food booths, a parade tomorrow at 1, live music, a cakewalk, car show and more.  For details, click here.

The annual Neal Moore Labor Day Parade & Picnic is planned for Monday (Labor Day).  The parade will start at 10 am at Grand and John Q. Hammons Parkway.  It will go west on Grand, south on Campbell to Fassnight Park where the picnic will start after the parade.  Free brats and hot dogs will be available.  Donations will benefit the Union Veteran’s Council.

Michele Skalicky has worked at KSMU since the station occupied the old white house at National and Grand. She enjoys working on both the announcing side and in news and has been the recipient of statewide and national awards for news reporting. She likes to tell stories that make a difference.
