The 21st annual Japanese Fall Festival is today through Sunday (9/9-9/11) at the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden in Springfield.  The annual festival celebrates Japanese culture and Springfield’s Sister City relationship with Isesaki, Japan.  Hours today are 5 to 10 pm, tomorrow 11 am to 10 pm and Sunday 11 am to 6 pm.  For details, peacethroughpeople.org

The 19th annual Ozarks Celebration Festival kicks off tonight (9/9) with the Ice Cream Social & Concert under the Stars outside Craig Hall at Missouri State University.  It continues through Sunday (9/11) on the MSU campus.  For a schedule of events and other information, click here.

Outdoor Days 2016 is today through Sunday (9/9-9/11) at Table Rock Lake.  At the free event, attendees can take part in several outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, archery, hiking, rock climbing and more.

The third annual Missouri State Dutch Oven Championship will be held tomorrow (9/10) at 7C’s Winery in Walnut Grove.  Cooking starts at 10 am and judging at 2.  Public tasting will start after the judging, and there will be live music by Rusty Rose from noon to 4.  Proceeds will go to the Walnut Grove Food Backpack program.  For more information, www.modutchovencookoff.org

“In Our Own Voice” will feature Stephanie Appleby from NAMI Southwest Missouri who will share her story of overcoming agoraphobia after years of being homebound tomorrow night (9/10) at 7  in the Plaster Student Union Theater on the MSU campus, and counseling sessions will be available.  It's part of "Project Semicolon, Start the Conversation, End the Stigma."
