Seldom Heard Music for August 29, 2009

We introduced music from Loudon Wainwright III's latest project - "A tribute to Charlie Poole". We also heard from Valerie Smith and Liberty Pike, Hazel Dickens, the Johnson Mountain Boys, Jim Lauderdale with Raph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys, and others.

We featured a couple of tunes from "Flatpicking Bluegrass", a project that Dan Miller of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine has put together that features a dozen of the best flatpickers in the business, including John Chapman, Kenny Smith, and others.
