Event Description

High school drama CAN be a good thing. At every Springfield public high school, drama students have spent weeks before and after school preparing for their annual fall stage productions. Glendale High School theater students will present "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," a musical comedy that centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by equally quirky grown-ups. Performances are Thursday-Saturday Nov.16-18 at 7:00pm, with an extra matinee Saturday at 2:00pm. Tickets are $10 adults, $8 students and senior adults, and can be purchased at the Glendale box office.
