Center at Drury Offers Help to Entrepreneurs

Drury

In this segment of Making Democracy Work, Leslie Carrier talks with Kelley Still, executive director of the Edward Jones Center for Entrepreneurship, about the center and what it offers.

Drury University is home to the Edward Jones Center for Entrepreneurship.  Its executive director, Kelley Still, discusses the importance of having this center on campus and how it prepares students for a future in a global economy by providing an undergraduate Minor in Entrepreneurship Studies.  In addition to working with students, the Center also assists corporations to help them stay fresh and innovative and remain competitive in an ever-changing business environment.  To broaden the entrepreneurial spirit, they host several conferences throughout the year.  The Women’s Entrepreneurship Symposium will be held on Saturday, March 21 on the Drury University campus.  It's a conference for women to learn how to move their entrepreneurial ideas to reality.  To register, or for more information, call 873-7458.  To learn more about the center, click here.
