Provance is the co-founder of The Geek Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides interactive education to future engineers, "techies", and makers – especially women, at-risk youth, and the underemployed – regardless of their ability to pay.
Crystal and Maranda discuss the disparities in tech, what inspired her to work to break down this barriers, why diversity is a huge part of their mission, and a vision to bring tech (and jobs) to all corners of Springfield and the world.
