Grateful for Your Service

Longtime KSMU listener and volunteer Warren Fritzinger discovered KSMU more than 20 years ago when he and his wife moved from Chicago to Mt. Vernon.

Better known by Fritz, he’s a frequent presence at KSMU’s Springfield studios.

“I’m down there at least once or twice a week,” he says, adding that “From here to Springfield I always have it [KSMU] on.”

When at the studios, Frtiz helps with tasks like organizing music or answering phones during pledge drives.

“I like the people there, he says. “It’s rewarding for me.”

Frtiz’s service, along with that of it dozens of volunteers, serves a valuable purpose at KSMU. While we’re proud to serve you; we’re grateful that you serve us.
