KSMU Takes First Place for News Series at MBA

KSMU's Jennifer Davidson received first place honors in the medium radio market division for her news series on Medicaid expansion in Missouri.

She received the award at the Missouri Broadcasters Association Annual Convention and Awards Banquet held June 7 in Branson.

The award marks the second honor for Davidson related to her reporting on the controversy surrounding the push to expand Medicaid in Missouri. Earlier this year, she received honorable mention for the 2013 Toner Prize for Excellence in Political Reporting.
