Springfield Public Schools is looking for bus drivers to fill positions across the district.
The district is holding a job fair on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. to find new drivers.
Bus drivers in the district do get benefits for part-time work and have paid training. And they also have flexible work hours.
Each person who applies at the job fair will have access to an on-site interview with Jonathan Shelden, who is the director of transportation for the district. The Missouri Job Center Mobile Unit will also be parked at the event to help with online applications and resumes.
The job fair will be located at the SPS Transportation Center at 2945 E. Pythian St. in Springfield.
