Community Partnership of the Ozarks
Springfield community volunteers gathered with unsheltered residents for Hope Connection, a Community Partnership of the Ozarks event intended to connect homeless people with critically needed services. The COVID-19 pandemic made putting on such events difficult, but CPO's Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness is busy preparing for crisis cold winter shelters to activate between Nov. 1, 2022 and March 30, 2023.

A one-day event to help the Ozarks’ homeless population is in need of volunteers.

The Community Partnership’s Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness will host the ninth annual Hope Connection and Veterans Stand Down November 15.  The event will give homeless individuals access to essential services and will also feature specific services for veterans.

Each guest seeking services will be paired with a community volunteer to help navigate services and provide one on one support.

Volunteers will need to attend a 30 minute training between 4 and 6:30 p.m. on November 14, and will need to be available on the November 15 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

For more information and to register, click here. Registration will close on Wednesday, Oct. 25, or when all positions are filled. Click here to listen to stories from past volunteers.
