Director and screenwriter, Alex Johnson, will present a master class in filmmaking this morning (1/30) at 10:30 in MSU’s Plaster Student Union Theatre.  Alex will discuss the state of independent filmmaking in the U.S. today, describe his work as a director, producer and screenwriter and analyze several scenes from his award-winning dark thriller, Two Step.  The event is free and open to the public. To learn more, missouristate.edu.

Director and screenwriter Alex Johnson will screen his film, Two Step, tomorrow night (1/31) at 7 in MSU’s Plaster Student Union Theatre.  The lives of James, a directionless college dropout and Webb, a career petty criminal with his back against the wall, violently collide in this Texas thriller.  Johnson will hold a talkback following the screening to discuss the film and answer questions from the audience.  Doors open at 6:30, and admission is free.
