Ozark Heritage Festival

The Old Time Music, Old Time Heritage Festival will be held today and tomorrow (6/19-6/20) from 10 am to 10 pm in West Plains featuring musicians, storytellers, artisans and more.  The 8th annual Mule Jump contest will be held tomorrow morning (6/19) morning starting at 11 with demonstrations and the jump at 1 as part of the festival.  For details, wwwoldtimemusic.org

Fantastic Friday at the Nature Center will be held this morning (6/19) from 9 to noon in conjunction with the Springfield-Greene County Library District.  Kids can take part in stories, crafts and more as they discover the heroic work of the insect world.  Stop by anytime.

Kids in grades K-5 can meet critters from Pet Therapy of the Ozarks and learn about their work during the program, “Pet Heroes,” today (6/19) at 4 at the Brentwood Branch Library.
