In this installment of Weekend Outlook, KSMU's Michele Skalicky talks with Josie Rorarbar, president of the Springfield Council of Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri, about their flower show today and tomorrow (5/22-5/23) at the Library Center.

The 2nd annual Table Rock and Ribs will be held today and tomorrow (5/22 & 5/23) at Table Rock Resort & Rocks Restaurant northwest of the Kimberling City Bridge.  The event will feature 26 competing BBQ teams, family activities, live music, a beer garden and concessions. Proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.  For details, click here.

The Springfield Council of Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri’s annual Standard Flower Show, “And They Lived Happily Ever After,” will be held today (5/22) from noon to 8:30 pm and tomorrow (5/23) from 8:30 am to 4 pm at the Library Center.  For more information, 818-4780.

The Arts in the Park Concert Series continues tomorrow night (5/23) at 7 outside the Visitor Center at Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield.  The Missouri Boatride Bluegrass Band will be the featured group.  Admission is free. Take blankets and lawn chairs.
