This week we played music from folks who took home the awards at the 2010 IBMA Awards show last week.

Opening with Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, moving on music from Lindley Creek Bluegrass, Rhonda Vincent, Alison Krauss, Junior Sisk and Rambler's Choice, The Grascals, the Boxcars, Balsam Range, Donna Ulisse, and Chris Hillman and Herb Pedersen. We closed the show with Dailey and Vincent, who took home the honors as Bluegrass Entertainer of the Year for the third straight year from IBMA.

From Sally Goodin by Byron Berline to Roll On, Buddy, Roll on by Sam Bush; we play two hours of solid bluegrass music.

Mike interviews Bo Brown about the Undergrass Boys upcoming concert and plays some music recorded in 1981. Harry challenges Justin Sifford to learn a song by Larry Cordle for next summer. In addition to all that fun, we played some good bluegrass music, too.

Some "Grandpa" songs to commemorate Mike Smith's new status as a grandfather, and Harry Moore's status as the grandfather of two. Grandparent's Day is also celebrated the first Sunday after Labor Day, so this program is a tip of the Bluegrass hat to all grandparents.

Great bluegrass again this week by such artists as Sammy Shelor, Del McCoury, Don Rigsby, The Chapmans, The Hillbenders, Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road, Weary Hearts and others.
