A Storytelling Festival will be held tonight (8/25) from 6 to 8 and tomorrow (8/26) from 11 to 3 at the George Washington Carver National Monument in Diamond, MO. 

Entrance fees will be waived today (8/25) at Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield and other national parks to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the National Park Service’s founding.

The Springfield Conservation Nature Center will host Insect-O-Rama tonight (8/18) from 6:30 to 9:30.  It’s an annual celebration of insects and the important role they play in nature.  No registration required.  For details, 888-4237.
