Greater Ozarks PrideFest is tomorrow (6/17) on Park Central Square.  An equality march starts at 10:30 a.m.

Cocktails and Wellies is tomorrow (6/10) from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lindberg’s Tavern, 318 W. Commercial Street, with live music, locally grown food, craft beer, local art and a silent auction.  Proceeds benefit Springfield Community Gardens.  Emilee Blansit and Kaycie Surrell talk about the event. 


The First Friday Art Walk is tonight (6/2) from 6 to 10 in downtown Springfield. 

Japan Night, featuring high school students from Springfield’s Sister City, Isesaki, Japan, will be held tonight (6/2) from 6:30 to 8 at the Jim D. Morris Center, 301 S. Jefferson, in downtown Springfield.  There will be traditional Japanese games, crafts, snacks and performances.  Admission is free.

The Kearney Street Cruise! Kickoff is tonight (5/26) at 6 along Kearney St. in Springfield.  Cars, trucks, motorcycles and other motorized vehicles are invited to take part in the family-friendly event. 

The NSRA Mid-America Street Rod Nationals event is today through Sunday (5/26-5/28) at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.

Marcus Chatman & Co. and Hoover Music will host Strings for Care today and tomorrow (5/19-5/20) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the store, 440 S. Jefferson.  You’ll be able to take an acoustic or electric guitar for re-stringing at a reduced cost, and you can enter drawings for prizes.
